New York English Academy was founded in 1998 in Manhattan, offering a variety of high-quality English courses.
The University of the State of New York Education Department certified New York English Academy as a licensed school in 2003 and renewed the license in 2021. Additionally, in 2014, New York English Academy was accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training).
We are also authorized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to enroll non-immigrant foreign students, enabling us to issue I-20 forms to students who wish to obtain a student visa (F-1 Visa).
In January 2025, New York English Academy will relocate to a new, larger campus at 330 7th Avenue, which offers convenient access from various parts of New York City, making it an ideal location for students to commute with ease.

NAFSA is an association of individuals worldwide advancing international education and exchange.
NAFSA's members number nearly 10,000 individuals from all 50 states and more than 150 countries and New York English Academy is one of them. -
ACCET
ACCET (Accrediting Council For Continuing Education & Training) is an independent national accrediting organization founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training. Since 1978 it has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a qualified source of higher education evaluation.
ACCET requires schools seeking accreditation to adhere to a rigorous set of quality standards in their educational program offerings.
New York English Academy has officially been accredited by ACCET since August 2014. -
English USA
With a membership of over 200 accredited English Language Programs (ELPs), English USA is the largest membership organization specifically serving and supporting ELPs in the United States. They support the professional development of ELP leaders and staff, uphold professional standards for ELPs, and increase the visibility of English language study in the United States.
